Hi,

I'm relatively young as well...I just turned 26. I used to have a hard time swallowing pills, too. I recommend taking a chewable Digest-Aid tablet...they taste like tropical fruit. Also, I must ask: has your doctor done tests on you? Colonoscopy? Food allergies? If so - and you really do have IBS and not something more serious, there are plenty of dietary paths you can try out. I love junk food and chocolate so much...I used to eat a chocolate bar every day (at least)!!! I can't do that now without getting the worst gut rot and a lot of gas. I haven't yet thrown up from an episode...that must be so horrible for you. If you ever want to email me...go ahead. But don't get too worried about this (it might make your stomach worse). From all the pesticides used and all the fast food people eat, please know that there are many, many people (all ages) that have digestive problems. You aren't the only one.....don't worry! Try to adjust your diet as much as you can...see what works for you. Also make sure your doctor has done all the other tests to rule out a more serious illness. You'll be OKAY!!!
Sue
