: To Harry or anyone else that can help, here is my story: I have had bad(up to 15 times a day) of D for the last 4 years, which I always associated with the genital herpes that I was diagnosed at the same time (hubby gave it to me, isn't that "sweet"?). I have also had horrible migraine headaches that do not respond to imitrax or anything like that (fiorinal with codeine worked, but soon developed an addiction to them, so I had to stop). I also experience terrible female type pains in my lower back and entire lower abdomen (PID has been ruled out, but ob/gyn has said she wants to do a lap scope, had a horrible pregnancy with the baby trying to split through the left side of a previous C-section about 8 months ago, he was 2 months early, but he was then and is fine now). I was also recently diagnosed with eczema (which I am now on steroids, claritin, serzone, and hydrozyzine), which didn't start until the last 5 months. Most of the symptoms are worse during ovulation and menstruation. I get the g.herpes 2 days before the start of my period, have a heay period for 7-8 days, then 1 or 2 days before the end of my period, get the eczema. (my derm. said that I was only the second person he had seen with this type) no, he didn't specify what kind of eczema. My GI doc did a colonostopy today and said that I had irritable bowel syndrome, which seems like cop out to me, I think that he may be clueless. I have endured too many unneccesary med. procedures, but I am clueless as to what it could be. I was also leaning towards IBS or IBD, but feel that there is more going on. I also have severe knee, wrist, and shoulder/neck pain. My eyes feel like there is something in them constantly and are real dry and itchy. Can anybody help???? Thanks in advance, I am only 25, and am scared because I have 4 small children. Please help!!!

i'm sorry i can't help but i can tell you that i suffer from both exczema/ dry skin + ibs and the 2 things seem to feed off / cause each other. the specialist i've seen twice (soon to be 3 times)at the JR in Oxford dosen't seem to believe me however. 1 of my main problems is scratching/ rubbing skin while trying to evacuate, he thinks it's just a reflex action that i can overide but it feels like 1 and the same problem to me. has anyone else suffered similarly?
