Hi. I have recently been diagnosed with IBS....and of course been told thta I would have to change my eating habits. To cut out "heavy meals" and so forth. So I am looking for suggestions, different recipes and so forth on the "safe" foods I can eat that won't irritate it so much.
Ex: I was sitting around with my family last night eating some of there Halloween candy....and this morning, I am paying. I have been cramping ever since, and have really been hurting. SO I know I need to do something. I am a veggie eater, love salads and so forth. What can I eat as far as that that won't make me feel so bad? Also, and suggestions on what I can do to releive the bloating, cramping, and irritation that I get. I have been told that Ginger Root is a ggod thing to take for stoamch trouble, but it really doesn't help. Nothing helps when it gets this bad.
Thanks so much for any advice and suggestions you have. Please feel free to email me about this. Greatly appreciated.
