: : One night the pain was so bad I passed out on the bathrom floor. Went to my family doctor who sent me to a "specialist". Had lots of test done including that awful colonostipy (sorry about spelling). When all the test came back I was told it was my nerves and sent on my way. After reading about IBS I am sure that is what I have. I am going to try fiber products to see if they will help. I am going to disney in Dec and don't want to spend my trip in pain. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. By the way I have been living on Amodium.

: Almost the same thing happened to me. Twice I almost passed out because I was is so much pain. I was home alone trying to keep myself from passing out -- hands and legs had pins and needles and sweating profusely. Was so bad, I wanted to go to the hospital but was too embarrassed to call an ambulance. Made it through that. Since then, I had my gall bladder removed -- tests showed it was functioning below normal. Stomach pains are not as intense now.

Thank you for your reply. I just wish they would find something or at least give me something. I'm glad to hear that your'e not in as much pain.
