: I just had a urine test on Monday for what the Doctor said then might be kidney stones.
: I was asked to call back today and was just informed that it was just a slight infection
: no stones.

: The reason I went to the Doctor about this is...a week ago I had very severe pains in my upper left
: side. The pains were bad enough to make me scream, and I'm nowhere near "new" to pain. This
: lasted off and on for over 16 hours and the pains would last from 15 to 45 mins. The area was still
: tender and painful to the touch a week later at the Doctor's appointment.

: My history is..I have had repeated urinary track infections and incontinence for the last 29 years (since
: birth of my only child) and most of the time I don't even know when I've got an infection, they are found
: on a routine exam. I've had at least 3 in the last two and a half years. The first two there was no pain
: with and were only caught because of a routine exam. They were not "slight" infections like this one
: so I don't understand why I was in so much pain with this one.

: 13 or 14 years ago I had surgery on my bladder for the incontinence and it didn't work. I've had pains
: in the left side for at least 10 years whenever I bend to the right, which I have
: to do every day to load the dishwasher.

: If it isn't stones, then can anyone suggest something else it might be?

: Thanks, Tina

Well no UTI is gona make u scream in pain i know that! U could have stones! And there something wrong here too,, All? he did was a urine test??? That can NOT rule out kidney stones! I know,, I have had them many many times and my urine test always comes back NORMAL,, HA! so thats proof right there ect..
I think ur Dr is not taking u serious at all,, and u should one who will! U don't deserve thats,, thats rude,,

And u mentioned that the area was still tender a while later,, I have gotten that alot w/ K-Stones,, it's so damn sore it feels like a big bruise, Sore to the touch /& w/ movement ect,,,
If u really think u have stones Go see a Urologist Or a Dr that takes u serious at least and have some X-Rays,, Usually a "KUB" will show stones but not always,,,
U shold jus start looking all kinds of probs online w/ ur symptoms and then u will figure out what u have,, I do cause it tells me MORE then the so called Dr's do!

Good Luck
