: : Thanks so much for the follow-up. I'm not glad you've got this, but it does make me feel a little better knowing I'm not alone. Not very familiar with Prostatitis though... Hope it's not serious. Also hope this goes away soon too.... Hurts like hell today.... Another Urologist appointment on Thursday....

: : : I've had some pretty nagging pain in my left testical for about 6 weeks now. Visited my primary care doc and a Urologist who, after an ultrasound showed nothing unusual, told me I most likely have epididymitis. I've been on antibiotics and anti-inflamatories for about two weeks now with no major improvement. My urologist has told me that this is not necessarily unusual, and can be a rather "pain in the neck" to get rid of....

: : : I'm really getting quite sick of this pain though. When I get in a "comfortable" position and stay there a while, the pain subsides (as long as I don't touch it). At other more active times, it hurts like hell, even into my groin and left leg.

: : : Any comments? I'm reasonably sure I don't have anything "serious", as the ultrasound would have shown it if I did.... But on the other hand, will this damn thing ever go away??!?

: : : Thanks,
: : : Kevin

: : Really don't have any information on that condition, merely wanted to say that I hope it gets better soon. Nothing is more painful than to have a pain in one of our testicles. Certainly seems that if it were something the ultrasound would have shown it. Hang in there and good luck, hope it goes away soon!

: Bingo, exactly what I am going thru, me it started more than 4 months ago, that is what the doctor said I had epididymitis, after 6 weeks of antibiotics I whent to see him today, and now he thinks that the epididymitis is/was caused by Prostatitis wich is a whole other ball game, and apparently is pretty common.
: I like you say that this is a pain in the ..., and that the reasons why and how it develops is pretty unclear.. anyway, just wanted to let you know that you are not the only one, hang in there.. and take a lot of hot baths, and try to keep your leg elevated, and wear loose pants..
: cheers.
