: Hello, this is the first message I have ever posted so please bear with me! I am having pain in my left testicle which goes from the testicle upwards at times to the left of my penis and stops there but feels deep underneath the skin. This problem started about a month ago and doesnt shoot pain upwards all the time but it seems to be a constant mild pain in the testicle that sometimes can throb. For lack of a better way to describe it, it feels like "Blue-Balls", and is progressively becoming harder to ignore. I read some of the questions and answers posted relating to this topic and do not have the same symptoms other than pain in the testicle. I had extensive back surgery about 3 1/2 years ago and had my very last disc removed in my back and part of my hip-bone was used to make an artificial disc and then a cage was fused around it to hold it in place. As I was researching this I stumbled upon an article before coming here that basically said that the 2 might be connected, as I was diagnosed with Disc Degenerative Disease. I am curious to know if anyone has ever heard of this and if I would need some type of corrective surgery. I know that it cannot be an STD as I have been with the same woman for 9 years. I am 30 years old and in good physical shape other than my back problems. I initially thought that it might be a hernia or something related but I havent done any heavy lifting since my surgery. I dont know what to do because I no longer have any health insurance so any advice or knowledge on the subject would greatly be appreciated. Could the 2 be related? Is this common? Help because I have the "blues" in a bad way!!! Thanks
