: : Has anyone here experienced twitching of muscles all over the body, at different times and in different places? Does anyone know what can cause them? It is driving me nuts. It does not hurt but it feels awful.
: : These are little twitches like you get in your eyelid, only they are everywhere. Been happening for months.
: : Thanks for input!

: Hey lisa,
: i also get these twitches and i have no idea what causes them. it is exactly what you described and it is definitely annoying. i also have what i think is restless legs, but i'm not sure. i'm going to see a neurologist in a few weeks so hopefully i can find out if there is a name for this condition (if it even is a condition.) this has only been happening for about 2 months now and i'm sick of it!! but i'm glad that somebody else out there knows what i'm talking about. i'll post if i find out anything.

I've been having non-stop twitching like you but only in my calves. My right calf twitches 100% of the time 24 hours a day. My left calf only once in a while. This has been going on for over a year and since there's no pain, only the slight twitching sensation, I haven't gone to see a doctor about. It's starting to worry me though, since its been happenning for so long. I have been having trouble sleeping for about the same 1 year period and I'm now wondering if this constant twitching is not letting me relax enough to get sound sleep. I'm going to see a neurologist in a couple of weeks and will write you back after I get a hint of what might be going on. Good luck, Pete
