I am a 47 yr. old female. I started Didrocal in June. I went to the doctor in September for what I thought was Bursitis It has since gotten worse and now the pain has gone into the muscle of my biceps. Also the muscles in my thighs feel very fatigued. After reading what was posted here I wonder if this is part of the side effects. Anyone experience something similar: : : : I am a 46 yr. old female. I started Didrocal a month ago and am experiencing pain in the legs which I am not sure is caused by the Didrocal. I would love to hear from anyone who has been on longer than me. Has anyone had success with this drug and what side effects did you experience if any. Thanks

: : : Started taking didrocal in February 2000. As the months went by, became increasingly arthritic. Stopped the didrocal in June to see if I would feel better.Big improvement! restarted didrocal two weeks ago and all the old symtoms are starting to return. Hormones and evista were not any better, any suggestions?????

: : Hummm. very interesting. I started Didrocal in June and I am being tested now for arthritis. The pain began about that time. Do you really think there is any connection?

: Everyone seems to tolerate the medication differently, but it's bizarre to start didrocal and start feeling pain.
: I also saw a rheumatologist who did a great number of tests, there was nothing conclusive
: to be found. It seemed to me that he thought I was over-reacting because my examination seemed fine to him. however, I was on the didrocal for four months and gave it a fair shot. Just saw my doctor today, my bone density has improved over the year. My doctor really listens to me and feels that I should not be in discomfort, wants me to try fosamax to see if I feel any better.
