Dear Dr. Whitworth,

First off, my apologies for misspelling your name. I meant no disrespect. Don't know why I started that, brain just flies away sometimes!

First off, hope this post finds you in good health, body and soul.

Also, I hope you don't mind but I've a few more questions than normal. I hope you don't mind, but it saves me posting 3 - 4 times.

First off, my situation is, and has been for quite some time, loss of lower limbs reflex. All Dr's/Specialists who try to get a response have to hit my knee's or ankles really hard to get minimal response.

My left side gives no response at all while the right gives minimal amount if hit hard enough.

My question - if I attend a pain clinic where response to meds, therapy etc. is positive, will I regain all reflex actions??? If not, why?

Also, why does one lose reflex's in these areas.

Also, is there a marked difference in the response to oxycontin and kapanol?? I'm considering taking kapanol as I'm told it is cheaper to purchase over here. However, I don't want to change if there is a reason for the lesser cost.

Another question - is it possible to go from chronic pain to chronic fatique??

I don't know if you remember but I said some time ago that I have Ross River Fever, which is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes. I don't know if it is a problem over there

Anyway, Ross River, in some people, lasts for years. Unfortunately, I seem to be in that category. Can this and chronic pain combine to give added stress or are the two totally different problems that can't combine??

Appreciate and thank you for your time.

regards, ila
