: : Hi there. I am at 3 months now, and I have been getting these sharp little pains in my stomach. Does anyone know what this could be? They are somewhat sharp but only last a little while, and they come and go.
: : What are the signs of your uterus stretching? Could there be any other explanation?
: : Also, the doctor told me I was rh negative, and I am quite worried about this. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of anyone else?
: : I'de appreciate anything. Thanks so much.
: : Trinity.

: Hi, I had my first child 10 months ago. Those pains you are feeling sound like the same ones I experienced. I can't remember what the dr said they were called but they are normal. Also about the rh-, I had the same problem (if you want to call it that). It didn't cause any complications. It's just a pain in the butt (literally). I had to get a shot when I had an amnio done then one later on in my pregnancy and one the day after. The shots are just done as a precaution. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi Trinity:

Those pains may be the ligaments which are connected to the uterus (hold it) stretching. They're
like sharp pains in the abdomen on either side. This is really common and not a problem. Don't
worry about the rH...just get the injections as your doc. directs and everything will be fine.

Talk later--LynnB
