: : : Something to which I have never heard anyone else refer: I have RLS, been through the medication-trying, etc., am now on Welbutrin. The condition is much improved, though it still exists. However, one problem no one has addressed so far is that I have little tics or spasms in the muscles of my legs. This is constant - 24 hrs a day -- and it is visible, like a thick pudding just before it comes to the boil. I can't be the only one -- anyone have any info on this?

: : : thanks, Hyrax

: : I have variations of what you describe. I work at home and have found that if I go walk on the treadmill or around the block for about 5 minutes every hour or so, my muscles settle down. Periodic walking during the day even helps with problems sleeping. -- Hope that helps.

: hi -- i also have the rls symptoms. re the twitching / tic in the calf muscles... i have it much of the time. i can feel it and if i have shorts on i can see the calf muscles twitch...

: i have been taking zoloft for around two years. i did take wellbutrin at one time but do not remember anything about the calf muscles. but the twitching is definitely there -- at night when i am in bed and also right now as i sit at my computer.......

I'm a twitcher, mostly legs but arms, back even face. It started when I was diagnosed with Mono a couple of years ago and is exacerbated by fatigue, stimulants and stress. It can be really embarassing in a bathing suit! The more sleep I get, the better it is! good luck!
