Hi all,

I am a 23 year old female and have been suffering from a sleeping problem for a few years now, but I can't seem to find out what it is. I don't think I sleep deeply enough. I am always exaughsted when I go to bed and when I wake up. I dream frequently at night, usually remembering at least 2 dreams but sometimes as many as 5. When I go to bed, I am asleep within five minutes. But if I am awakend anytime during the night by even the slightest noise, I am up for hours. I don't snore at all (this has been confirmed by friends), I am not overweight, I eat well and exercise regularly, I do not have very much stress in my life, and I am healthy in all other respects. But I need at least 10 hours of sleep a night just to function, sometimes more. Somebody help me, this is ruining my life. I have to go to bed at 9 pm just so I can wake up by 8am. I can't stay out late, I space out a lot during the day (almost like I am sleeping with my eyes open), I have to struggle not to fall asleep in the car, and all I can think about all day every day is going home to my nice warm bed. I am going to see a doctor as soon as I can, but it will be January before my health benefits from my job kick in (if I can keep it with this problem). If any of you can help direct me to some sleep sources it would be appreciated.
