: I am just wondering if anyone works, because I can't now. If it weren't for my parents and SSI, I don't know how I would be able to buy stuff. I probably won't be able to work for a long time, because I work with bad school children (and I don't think I can handle that now). But, since my job let me go (an easy way to say they fired me) maybe the school district will place me at another school. I can't wait until I will be able to work again (except for getting up really early in the morning). Even if I could work, I don't know how I would get there (I am not supposed to drive).

Hi pooky,

You certainly have plently of questions, I hope that it is a sign of your recovery. You appear to be doing really well. Keep up with the therapy and who knows what will happen.

You should have read some of my posts and understand that as a result of a severe stroke that I am expected to only be a vegetable. I have returned to work (my old job) part time. Progress is slow, at least to me. In real terms I am progressing very fast in that my stroke occurred late August 1999. I started back on the 14 February at 3 hours per day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Since then I have progressed to 6.5 hours a day at present. I feel well enough to be able to do more however when I have tried it wears me out to quickly. I am lucky in that my work is understanding and helpful in easing me back into the workforce.

I would like you to email me please. Peter
