: : I know I ask a lot of questions, but I was wondering if anyone had kidney failure after their stroke. I had it and I think dialysis, too because of all the morphine my doctors gave me for pain. I am also wodering if this is the reason why I urinate so much.

: Hi Pooky,

: I can't answer your question as it is not something that I have expirenced. However do not stop asking questions. It is the only way to come to know and understand what your body has been through. You are not alone and there is plenty of people through their own experiences can help if they share.

: In my own case I have only this past day found out more about my own stroke. It is apparantly a very rare condition, more prevalent in pregnant woman than men, I have only come accross 1 other man who has had this condition.

: As in my last response I think I can help you further if you were to email me at [email protected]

: I think that you are doing wonderfully well, keep up with the therapy and it can only get better.
: Peter

I'm glad to see lots of questions. I'm new to this but I feel better about asking questions when there's someone else doing the same. My Mom had a stroke last Nov., she doesn't have kidney failure but she does have very little bladder control. Besides being embarassing, it's one of the more minor problems we're dealing with.
