: : I have been haveing a feeling of weakness in my left arm and leg and a feeling of numbness in my face on
: : the left side since Friday of last week.. I did have a headahce, not bad though. It is not weak cause I can hold my leg up and my arm up and they
: : don't fall. My face is not crooked. I am not confused and no blurred vision. I can close my eyes tight and
: : try to life them open wtih my hand and they won't and I can pucker my face and it is not drooping.

: : Could this be a stroke? I have been diagnosed with panic/anxeity attacks? Could this be that? I do have
: : high blood pressure but on meds and it is staying about 140/90. Do you think any of this can be stroke
: : related. I am 29 years old.

: : thanks

: I can't tell you if what you have been experiencing is a stroke. You should probably ask your doctor and get a CT Scan and/or MRI. My sister said that when I had my stroke I was waving my hand towards my face because I couldn't feel it. I guess my face got numb, too. By the way, I was only 22 when I had my stroke.

I certainly wouldn't want to diagnose your health but.... Your symptoms are definitely similar to the ones involved in my stroke. Probably it was a wake-up call to take care of yourself. Good eating, fresh vegetables and so forth as well as plenty of rest and stress reduction where possible would be helpful.
Good luck to you and take care. Joanne
