Doc. put me on 120 mg. 1/x a day. So far, I have not begun to feel any different, feel a tad jittery, but then, may be reading more into the med. change than an actual physical change. TOo early to tell. So far I have not turned "green' anyhow!: The endo. was not thrilled with the 4. She said being my TSH had NOT changed in 3 mos. she would up the synthr. yet again. She said I may just be stuck at that number. I told her the antibodies are just sitting on a 4 waiting to see what happens! She had no problem with switch to Armour, reluctanly admitted she had patients on it, and also Thyrolar both doing "fine" in her words. She gave me the tired old line of quality assurrance problems with the natural product, till I whipped out all my Mary Shoman articles on syn. etc. and she admitted I've done my reading. I even presented her with a copy of the latest newsletter. She said she was willing to work "with me", so at least I can say she listened to my harping all these months. She had to admit my previous undianosable symptoms could be thyroid or "not", she just does know. She goes by that standard TSH and nothing else. So I am happy I switched, and will see howit goes. How are you Tree frog, you are very helpful to the whole board.

Hi GailD
: So what did your doc say about your TSH at 4?
: please post in the message box so we get all your message
: : )

: Thanks for the kind words.
: I just found out my TSH was last at .99. Much better level for me. I see my endo the 2nd of November, and we may exchange some of my T4 for some T3, on trial basis. My brain is still fogged some, and that is supposed to help.

: I also wonder if there is a common need for more thyroid med in the winter when it is colder out.
: Anyone know?
