I started a walk/run program (after having gone to the gym an average of 5-6 times per week for 5 months) and I am on week 4 of 10 weeks all together. Anyway, I have been struggling with the low carb thing, even though I know it is best for me and I have been staying at the same weight for so long. I did lose 10 pounds in the first 2 months of working out, but have stayed there in what seems like forever!

But, since the walk/run program along with the recumbant (sp?) bike, I totally feel the difference and the inches coming off. My clothes fit better, my appetite is less and I feel like I am accomplishing something. The last 3 workouts or so I opted to take Xenadrine to get me through the running part easier and it does help, I am able to push myself a little bit more each time.

I just wanted to share this because I have been on the verge of being totally frustrated and nearly quitting. I wouldn't, though, I really enjoy working out and I have to get back to the frame of mind that I don't want to eat something, like chocolate or something really bad when I just worked hard and sweated at the gym for an hour or so. I have given myself too many "back doors" and said, "one won't hurt" way too many times, that it is a habit that I really really need to break.

If anyone has any helpful tips to help me stick with the low carb woe that would be great. I only take one Xenadrine a day and only on the days that I am working out, otherwise it makes me jittery. Have a great day everyone!
