First of all try and stay away from the idea of being a "stick figure" To me that means no fat and hardley any muscle, not too healthy. Did you know that by eating small meals more often during the day you can actually burn more calories. This happens because your metabolism never has time to slow down. Now keep in mind you can't just eat anything and you also can't eat alot. Try to eat between three and five small meals a day. You can also make it eaiser on yourself if you exercise, it dosen't have to be alot just 30min to an hour at least three times a week. You'll be suprised how fast the body responds to eating the right things and doing a little exercise. Good luck I hope this helps a little.
