: Hi Sara--I have lost 210 in a year on this diet. The Forman Grill is wonderful. The cheese you like and all cheese with no sugar are unlimited.Milk has sugar so get cream and dilute it with water. Alan is on the new board and for more help and answers to this diet type in a search on Atkins Diet. They have their own web site with chat rooms and a health board like this one. All of your answers can be found there. Oh yes it takes a good 2 to 3 weeks before the weight rolls of at 3 to 5 pounds a week. Buy a cheap carb paper back counter at most grocery store for about a buck. This will tell you what foods that are high in carbs and to stay away from.You can order this book on line at the book sites and the Atkins Diet site. Good Luck

Thank you so much! Actually, I don't really even like milk, I only use it in cooking not really even that now that I'm on this diet. This has been the easiest diet I have ever tried to stick to! I thought I'd miss carbs more than I do, but this is great, and having people like you to talk to about it makes it even easier. Thank you so much for your help and input, Ray. Is it true that you can't have vegetables or salads either? I thought green veggies were ok to eat, if not, I've messed up because I've been eating lots of green beans, celery and cucumbers along with the protein. Anyway, Thanks again!
